After a long hiatus, it appears Santigold is making up for lost time. With new music to listen to from her forthcoming album, Master of My Make-Believe, we also now have the cover art thanks to T: The New York Times Style Magazine.

For the picture, Santigold hired photographer Jason Schmidt to shoot her three ways: 1) as attendants wearing custom bodysuits designed by Alexander Wang; 2) as a distinguished army officer in a painting by the artist Kehinde Wiley; and 3) as a dominating mafia Don in the center.
Take a behind the scenes look at the making of Schmidt’s powerful piece, shot at The Explorers Club in NYC.
