Nike Graphic Studio Art Show 2.0

Last year, Portland’s Compound Gallery hosted the first Nike Graphic Studio show and had one of the biggest turnouts ever for a First Thursday opening. After such a tremendous response, this year the show has outgrown their space, and is moving to The Cleaners at Ace Hotel.

Bringing together sport and art, the exhibition is titled Old School vs. New School harnessing the spirit of March Madness. The showcase will display a select group of Nike designers in various mediums from street-inspired stencil art and typography to hand-painted canvases and three-dimensional creations.

And if that’s not enough of a reason to stop through, all the proceeds from the show will go to support Self Enhancement, Inc., a local nonprofit organization which helps at-risk urban youth realize their full potential.
